An injured Rasmus Lauge speaks out about his cruciate ligament injury

In 2016, Rasmus had to give up the Olympics due to an injury. In 2021, the scenario will most likely be the same...

Rasmus Lauge currently plays in Hungary at holder Veszprem. At the same time, he has been a major profile from a Danish perspective in recent years. Lauge sustained another cruciate ligament injury in a Champions League match in early December, and can look forward to a lengthy rehabilitation process.

The operation went as planned, and now a rehabilitation programme awaits, which according to Rasmus Lauge himself will be so long that the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo will probably be without him.
